Bec Brittain is a New York based lighting and product designer driven by a love of luxurious materials, intuitive forms and forward-thinking technology.
After studying product design (Parsons), philosophy (NYU), and architecture (The Architectural Association), Brittain began her career designing and producing bespoke door hardware. Handcrafting hardware allowed her to unify her diverse interests and discover a love of metalworking. She continued to hone her craft while acting as Design Director for the renowned Lindsey Adelman Studio from 2008 through 2011. In 2011, Brittain opened her own studio in Brooklyn, where she developed her signature product, the critically acclaimed SHY Light.

Since then, elements like function, design, quality and comfort go hand in hand – modern classics appreciated by architects, stylists, designers and design lovers worldwide.
David Weeks Studio
New York designer David Weeks founded the studio in 1996 as an umbrella for his diverse interests, which range from traditionally grounded metal fabrication techniques to contemporary toy culture. Over the past two decades, his product line has evolved from a core grouping of elemental lighting fixtures to a broader collection of upholstered seating, side tables, and sculptural objects with a simpatico sense of materiality and detailing.
The 2013 opening of the Tribeca storefront—one part gallery, one part creative lab—provided the opportunity to showcase the full breadth of the studio’s collaborations and capabilities—from high-concept light installations and angular, asymmetrical sofas to more experimental offerings.

PLEASE WAIT to be SEATED is a young Danish design company founded in 2014 by former interior photographer Thomas Ibsen. Today he works as creative director with a focus on product development. In September 2016 Peter Mahler Sørensen joined the company as CEO and co-owner. Peter has great experience from many years in the branding, design, and furniture industry as CEO, board member, and advisor.
Our design collection have its own characteristics with a focus on interaction, good craftsmanship, quality, materials and sustainability in terms of durable design.
